The new tub went in today, but just barely and not without removing the bathroom door facing! Next comes the tile.

Bathroom remodel - Nov. 2008

Three year ago we remodeled the kitchen. It needed it and the results were great. Now, we're doing both bathrooms. This had been "tear-out" week - wow, what a mess! I'll be glad when I can post the "after" pics!!

While we were doing the Foster boys pictures yesterday, I got Jonathan to snap a few of Peg and I with the boys. This is my favorite.

Homestead Hollow

I had heard about Homestead Hollow for years but until last Saturday, we had never been. They host four events annually: the first weekend of May, June, October and November. Last weekend's theme was "Christmas in the Country". It's a BIG event! I'm guessing several thousand were there Saturday afternoon enjoying a most beautiful fall day and everything from 'beans and greens' to 'fried moon pies" - I wanted to try one but rather settled for a fried apple pie.

Here's a quick look - Peg and I highly recommend it and most likely will go again next Spring.
