My Father's Day Present

Yes, it's a few days early but I had to try it out tonight with a couple of hamburgers. And the results were great! You just can't beat Weber's little "Smokey Joe".

Peg and I are with Liz Morgan and Meredith this afternoon while Connor (and family) plays in an out-on-town All Star game tonight. Liz Morgan and I braved the 90+ heat for a little swingin'.

Carson's Birthday (#8)

Saturday morning, we joined Carson and family at Super Slam for his eighth birthday party. The kids got to 'bat' to their heart's content. Then, it was pizza, cake and ice cream for all. Click the picture to see the album.

The Herb Garden

This is one of Tommy's Summer Projects. So far we have oregano, parsley, thyme, basil, dill, rosemary and mint. Also, to the left is one on Peg's 'Roma' tomatoes.

Hi-tech automated watering system

As you see, I have installed a high-tech, automated watering system for my upside-down hanging tomato. It works great! Also, check out the beautiful yellow blooms! If all goes well, we'll have tomatoes in a few weeks! Can't wait.
